  1. I might be wrong, please correct me if so, to my attention the book never say’s if the school was elementary, or a high school, My guess is that it is a high school, I got this by noticing how smart the students’s seem to be, all of them seem to be smart and aware of the world and usually most elementary students around our age don’t know these things (Not saying all aren’t just saying commonly) My guess is 16 or 17 because 16 is the legal age for driving (I believe) Not just that but they all seem pretty mature, all but Oswald he doesn’t seem the most mature in the group, any way back to the subject, I do think they’re around 16 or 17 from the reasons above!

  2. ya qavi i do not think they are old enough to have a car . It could be Julia's mom or dads car and they just can from school and they went to the car and talk because they were really up set about the uniform.I think they are 13-14 years old because it could be high school or not, and the world's they use.

  5. I am not sure but i think they are old enough maybe they are between 15-18, and maybe its Julia's mom or dad's car .I agree with you jeffrey and i agree with you too Mattm and i also think they are in high school becuse the ruls seems more like they are in high school.

  6. Matt I would have to disgree with you because the are not aware of what's going on in the world and I am pretty sure that they are in grade.8 or grade.9 but I don't they are old enough to drive. I think that maybe Julia has a brother or sister that we haven't been indroduced to yet in the book or maybe the parents went out of town with another couple and they car pooled with them but maybe we don't know that. I think that in the book the author wants to make us think that Julia is a nice girl and does every thing her parents say but maybe she is one of those girls that has friends and acts nice but on the other hand she is very rebal-ish in many ways.Alot of high schools don't really have school uniforms so I am more on the side of that they are in grade.8
So on the other hand I agree with shahad about maybe its the parents car

  7. Okay everybody there is a legal age Jeffery 13-14 is not the legal age to be driving and looking at how smart they (Ian Oswald and Julia) are im preety sure none of them are stoopid enough to jack theyre parents cars and start driving. Nuff' said!!
